Which certification do you need?
Both certifications are issued through IASME, the scheme's delivery partner, with Evolve North as your certification body.
Cyber Essentials
The government-backed baseline: a verified self-assessment of your five key technical controls. You complete a self-assessment questionnaire covering firewalls, secure configuration, access control, malware protection and security updates. Our assessors verify your answers and certify you.
Cyber Essentials Plus
Everything in Cyber Essentials, plus an independent technical audit of your systems. Includes the Cyber Essentials assessment. Cyber Essentials Plus adds hands-on testing by our assessors: vulnerability scans, malware protection checks and configuration reviews. It provides independently verified assurance, and is increasingly required in supply chains.
CE Plus only
Already hold Cyber Essentials? Add the Plus audit on its own. For organisations whose Cyber Essentials certificate was issued within the last 3 months. Your CE Plus assessment must be completed inside that 3-month window; we recommend having at least 2 weeks left, more for a first-time application.
How big is your organisation?
Count everyone who uses your systems: employees, directors and regular contractors, then pick the band you fall into. Certification pricing follows the scheme's standard organisation size bands. If you're close to a boundary, count every person with a user account, including part-time staff and regular contractors.

How much support would you like?
Both options include your assessment, IASME certification fees and a pre-assessment vulnerability scan of your whole organisation. The difference is how much help you get along the way.
Assessment only
We act solely as your assessors. Up to 5 assessment attempts included. You prepare and submit your assessment yourself; we assess it. If you don't pass, you can resubmit, up to 5 attempts in total. Best if you're confident in your controls or have been certified before.
Supported package
Phone and email support from our assessors, unlimited assessment reviews before you submit, and unlimited assessment attempts. Talk to our assessors by phone or email whenever you need, and have your assessment reviewed as many times as it takes before submission. Assessment attempts are unlimited rather than capped at 5. The surest route to passing first time.
