Self-Assessment Questionnaire
Your organisation completes and submits to us the Cyber Essentials questionnaire, assessing key areas such as firewalls, secure configurations, access control, malware protection, and patch management.
Questionnaire Review
Our team reviews your responses, identifying any gaps or areas requiring attention and provides feedback on any questions which do not provide enough information or meet Cyber Essentials requirements.
Updates & Alignment
We’ll wait for any updates to the questionnaire from you following our feedback. If necessary, we provide guidance on updating responses or making security changes to meet Cyber Essentials standards.
Cyber Essentials Certificate Issued
Once a valid self-assessment questionnaire has been submitted and assessed, your Cyber Essentials certification is awarded.
Cyber Essentials Plus
If you’re choosing to apply for Cyber Essentials Plus, you must first achieve Cyber Essentials certification, or apply for a combined certification.
External & Internal Vulnerability Scans
We conduct vulnerability scans to identify and help you resolve any security weaknesses.
User & Device Assessment
A remote assessment is carried out via video call and screen sharing software, testing user, device, and cloud security configurations to ensure compliance.
Cyber Essentials Plus Certificate Issued
Once all security checks are successfully passed, your Cyber Essentials Plus certification is awarded.
