We’re pleased to share that Evolve North is now a certifying body of the IASME Defence Cyber Certification (DCC) scheme. This enables us to formally support and assess organisations working within, or supplying into, the UK defence sector as they work towards meeting the scheme’s requirements.
The DCC framework has been developed by the Ministry of Defence in partnership with IASME to strengthen cyber resilience across the defence supply chain. It provides a structured, organisation-wide assessment of cyber security maturity and offers a clear, recognised way for suppliers to demonstrate that they meet the standards expected by defence-industry partners.
Why this matters
Cyber security expectations across the defence sector continue to rise. Demonstrating a mature and well-managed security posture is becoming essential for organisations bidding for contracts or working with defence primes.
The DCC scheme provides a single, consistent assurance route, aligned to established best practice, helping suppliers evidence their capability in areas such as risk management, governance, incident response and technical controls.
